Counselors
Teens ages 14-19 can apply to be teen counselors at camp. Counselor applications are now closed.
Youth need to be 14 on or by January 1, 2025.
This form is for youth and adults interested in being a CIT (Counselor in Training), Camper, and Adult Volunteer. Those who fill out the interest form will be notified when camp registration opens.
4-H Camp Information
Fairfax County 4-H camp is held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center, this overnight camp is for campers ages 9-13, as well as an opportunity for high schoolers to become counselors. Camp offers several classes choices for the week. Our five day, four night camp, provides a learning experience that will last a lifetime.
Fairfax County 4-H provides a leadership opportunity to teen volunteers 14 and up to serve as camp counselors. These teens, as well as adult volunteers, 4-H staff, complete trainings and are tested on core concepts before camp. Our staff is trained according to the American Camp Association requirements. You can rest assured that your child will have a safe, enjoyable experience at 4-H Camp!
