4-H ACTIVITIES
We host a variety of activities every year. Below are some of the annual events you can expect from Fairfax County 4-H, but we always have special events and activities that will arise. Stay tuned for more!
March 15, 2025
Public speaking skills are ranked number one among the desired skill sets of professionals. Every 4-H member is encouraged to give a presentation each year. Contest day is a day that all 4-Hers have a chance to practice their skills and show their many talents.
June 22-26, 2025
Fairfax County 4-H camp is held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center, this overnight camp is for campers ages 9-13, as well as an opportunity for high schoolers to become counselors. Camp offers several classes choices for the week. Our five day, four night camp, provides a learning experience that will last a lifetime.
July 31 - August 3, 2025
Bring the whole crew out to the Annual 4-H Fair and Carnival at Frying Pan Farm Park. Come out to Herndon, VA for four days of fresh air, farm fun, and good times for you, your family, friends and neighbors.
4 Different Types of Clubs: Community, Project, Military, School.
We always encourage members to try several different 4-H Clubs in order to find which club fits each member the best. 4-H members can be a part of any 4-H Club and are not restricted to just one 4-H Club.
